How to get to Rosenallis
Situated at the north eastern foothills of the Slieve Bloom
mountains, Rosenallis village can be reached from the main cities as
follows:
From Belfast take the A1 south to the border then the N1/M1 to
Dundalk. Continue on the M1 south to the M1/M50 Junction 3 at
Dublin. Take the M50 C-Ring south to Junction 9 and continue as
below on the N7
From Dublin by traveling south-west on the N7/M7 as far as Junction
15 for the R422 (Mountmellick), then west on the R422 through
Mountmellick and onto Rosenallis .
From Cork, take the N8/M8 north to Portlaoise then the N80 north to
Mountmellick and finally the R422 west to Rosenallis.
From Galway, take the N6/M6 east to the Kilbeggan junction then the N52
south to Tullamore. From here, take the N80 towards Mountmellick.
about 2Km past the village of Killeigh, turn right taking a minor
road (signed) south to Rosenallis.
From Limerick travel north-east on the N7/M7 to Junction 17 Portlaoise then north on the N80 to Mountmellick and finally take
the R422 west to Rosenallis.
